The basics of milking machine evaluation

In this Quick Talk you will have the opportunity to learn about the basics of the most important equipment on a dairy farm – the milking machine! The basics of milking machine evaluation will be approached in a practical way.

 

 
Rafael Ortega will guide you through the basic design of a milking machine system:

  • Vacuum system.
  • Milk conduction system and washing system, providing insight into the construction of the system.
  • Reference values for several parameters.

 
Additionally, some tests are presented, without the need for equipment or using a pulsograph, that would allow for evaluation of several key parameters, such us:

  • Liner condition.
  • Pulsation and vacuum levels.
  • Liner drop test.

 
Would you like to learn more about milking machine systems? This session is followed by a more advanced one! So soon we will share the second part with more content.

    Tengo actividades en ganaderia en lechera y para mi es importante poder conocer mas en lo relaciondo al equipo de ordeño sobre todo en la rutina he visto que no exiiste una rutina tipo o standard que se aplique en en salas de ordeño cada predio tiene su rutina una corta la otra larga el ordeñador no tiene una formacion especialida en ordeño.Lo que solicito si pueden poner a mi disposicion algun materias tecnico relacionad con la trilogia VACA EQUIPO ORDERÑADOR MAS AUN LA RELACION ANIMAL HUMANO

      ¡Muchas gracias por tu comentario! Una muy interesante aportación la que comentas, estamos preparando materials sobre la tríada, pero como bien dices, existen líneas generales que deben ser adaptadas a cada sala de ordeño, puesto que cada granja presenta una dinámica de trabajo diferente, ya sea en el número de personal disponible o la necesidad que presentan algunas de granjas de tener los ordeñadores haciendo varias tareas a la vez…
